--HowTo use the S command with kit instruments

Start out by setting up a kit instrument. Set LOOP to ON and LEN to (for example) 5. Now the instrument will be looped between positions 0 and 5. The S command can be used to modify these loop points while playing.

The first digit of the S command modifies the offset of the loop points. If the original loop points are 0 and 5, and doing command S30, the new loop points will be 3 and 8.

The second digit of the S command modifies the length of the loop. If the original loop points are 0 and 5, and doing command S03, the new loop points will be 0 and 8.

The parameter values 1–7 will add to the previous value, 8-F will subtract. (In usual fashion: F means -1, E means -2, ...)

--Examples

This example uses a short loop and moves it slowly through the sample, to give the impression that the sample is played slowly.
